The list, in detail.

Seven things printed on Tim's business card, and what each one actually involves.

01

Concrete Driveways

The biggest slab most homes will ever have, and the one that gets punished daily. Dug, based and compacted first, then poured, finished and jointed so it drains away from the house instead of into it.

  • New driveways and full replacements
  • Base prep, grading and fall set properly
  • Plain, broom or stamped finish
  • Control joints cut so cracks go where they're told

Sidewalks & Walkways

From the drive to the door, around the side, down to the shop. Small pours where every wobble shows, so they get formed straight and finished clean.

  • Front walks, side paths and connecting runs
  • Formed straight, jointed evenly
  • Broom finish for grip in the wet
  • Tied in level with existing concrete

03

Concrete Patios

The slab you'll actually spend time on. Sized to the furniture you own, fallen away from the house, and finished however you want it – plain and quiet, broom, or stamped and stained.

  • New patios and patio extensions
  • Fire pit and seating-wall surrounds
  • Plain, broom, or stamped decorative finishes
  • Fall set so water leaves, not pools

Porches & Steps

The first concrete anybody sees, and the first to go. When a porch is cracked past saving, the honest answer is to take it out and pour it again – which is exactly what one customer called "an outstanding job".

  • New porches and porch slabs
  • Cracked porches torn out and replaced
  • Steps and landings
  • Stamped finishes to suit the house

Retaining Walls

East Tennessee is not flat. When you want usable ground where there's currently a bank, something has to hold the dirt back – and it has to drain, or it will eventually lose.

  • Retaining walls to hold a grade
  • Cut and fill to make level ground usable
  • Drainage considered, not ignored
  • Tied in with the slab or driveway above

Garage & Shop Slabs

Detached garage, pole barn, workshop, storage building. Big flat pours where flatness is the entire job – Gary Edgemon's was 1500 sq ft, and his verdict was "nice work Tim".

  • Garage, shop and pole barn slabs
  • Building pads and equipment pads
  • Poured flat and level, finished smooth
  • Base and compaction done first, properly

Headwalls & Site Prep

Headwalls are on the card because Tim actually does them – the concrete that holds a culvert mouth open and stops your driveway washing into the ditch. Google also lists him as an excavating contractor, dirt supplier and sand and gravel supplier, so what goes under the pour is his job too.

  • Headwalls for culverts and drainage
  • Excavating and site prep
  • Dirt, sand and gravel supplied
  • Base built and compacted before the pour

Finishes and the rest of it.

Same concrete, very different look. Tell Tim what you're after and he'll tell you what it takes.

  • Plain finish
  • Broom finish
  • Stamped concrete
  • Stained & colored
  • Building pads
  • Equipment pads
  • Culvert headwalls
  • Tear-out & replace

One trade, start to finish.

Most concrete jobs need someone to dig it, someone to base it, someone to pour it, and someone to make all three of them turn up on the same week. Tim is listed for all of it – concrete contractor, excavating contractor, dirt supplier, sand and gravel supplier. One number, one job.

Do you do small jobs?

Yes. A short front walk gets the same forming and finishing as a 1500 sq ft garage slab. Call for your free estimate either way.

Can you replace concrete that's already cracked?

Yes, and sometimes that's the only honest answer. One customer had a porch described in their own review as "cracked and unsalvageable" – it came out and a new one went in.

Do you handle the digging and the base?

Yes. Tim is listed as an excavating contractor, dirt supplier and sand and gravel supplier as well as a concrete contractor, so the prep under the slab is part of the same job.

How do I get a price?
